As summer fades into fall, I start thinking about the fall colors and comfort foods. That’s what makes this Sweet Potato Fries recipe so appealing for October and really anytime! These are pretty easy to pull off and they’re super popular with the kids. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Sweet Potato Fries Recipe




medium sweet potatoes, peeled

tablespoons vegetable oil

teaspoons smoked paprika

teaspoon kosher salt

teaspoon garlic powder

teaspoon freshly-cracked black pepper

teaspoon cinnamon

teaspoon sugar


Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Cut the potatoes into 1/4″ thin, or at least make sure they are all uniform in size. Mix all other ingredients together in a large bowl and toss with the potatoes until they are evenly coated. Transfer the potatoes to a large baking. Spread the potatoes evenly. Place in the oven and cook for 20-30 minutes, turning the fries once during the cook time. May take more or less time, depending on the size and thickness you cut the fries.

Sprinkle with kosher salt while they are still hot.
